The West Brookfield Barn is the featured sketch on the cover of A Farmhouse Notebook! I photographed this barn the fall before it collapsed under winter snow. The barn and the house no longer exist. My parents nearly bought this farm in the early 1940s before settling on the family farm in Northfield.
